Angry Birds 1 and 2, Hotel Transylvania 3

Sony Pictures became the first film brand to take advantage of a multimedia campaign execution within intu centres.

Most intu centres host a multiplex cinema and with an audience strongly focused on families (70% profile), intu provided a highly relevant environment for marketing family movie releases.

Both campaigns feature experiential and outdoor media (standout media: wrapped escalators, hanging banners and atrium panels) as well as digital, CRM and the opportunity for character tours to promote the releases.

Angry Birds 2 and Hotel Transylvania 3 also made use of editorial promotion via intu’s large format screens as intu’s Movie of The Month.
